Aerodactyl @ Choice Band
Jolly – 252 Atk, 216 Speed, 40
Pressure
~ Stone Edge
~ Ice Fang
~ Pursuit / Crunch / Fire Fang / Aerial Ace
~ Earthquake

A standard Choice Band set. It only needs 216 Speed, because you aren’t going to let this thing stay in when it’s facing a Jolteon, and Crobat will most likely put this to sleep, which means you’re better off switching to something else. The 216 EVs allow you to outspeed Jolly Weavile, which is very important. Stone Edge, Ice Fang and Earthquake are given, as they provide solid type coverage together.
Pursuit, Crunch, Fire Fang and Aerial Ace all have their uses: Pursuit can rape psychic pokemon on the switch, making Aerodactyl a solid option to revenge kills things like Alakazam, Azelf and also Gengar. If you want a consistent Dark-type attack, to rape Gengars or Alakazam who’re somehow sticking around, or Claydol, then Crunch is a viable option as well. Fire Fang can hit Bronzong relatively hard and Aerial Ace counters Heracross. Pursuit would be my personal favorite.

Aerodactyl @ Life Orb
Jolly – 252 Atk, 216 Speed, 40 HP
Pressure
~ Stone Edge
~ Fire Blast / Pursuit / Aerial Ace
~ Ice Fang
~ Earthquake

This uses basically the same set as the Choice Band one, only it now has Fire Blast along with its other moves. Even with no EVs and a negative nature for SpAtk, you’ll have enough power to 2HKO max HP/min SpDef Skarmory holding Leftovers, as long as you make sure to put Life Orb as your hold item on here. For the rest, it functions the same as the CB set.

Aerodactyl @ Leftovers
Jolly – 252 Speed, 208 Speed, 48 Atk / SpDef
Pressure
~ Protect
~ Substitute
~ Roost
~ Fly / Taunt / Rock Slide / Aerial Ace / Iron Head

This set is used as a PP Staller. The 208 HP EVs put your HP at 353, allowing you to create 5 subs in a row without dieing thanks to Leftovers. You’re also only 1 HP above 352, a magical number for Leftovers recovery, so you’ll get optimized effects from that hold item as well. Protect and Substitute itself are quite standard, they stall, which is all you really need here. Roost is in to have easier access to HP recovery, and together with Sub and Leftovers, it’s going to be a real pain in the ass to take down. Fly is a novelty move here: although it’s a bad move in general, stallers like this might like it, as they force the opponent to waste 2 PP of an attack. It does give your opponent a free chance to set up with one of his/her support moves, so be ware of that.
Taunt is a great option on this, as it prevents the aforementioned problem: the opponent setting up on you. Even though this won’t have any attacking move itself when you go with Taunt, that shouldn’t be a problem, as this can Taunt things before they can Taunt you, making you practically invulnerable to that move. The fact that it also shuts down stat-boosters is simply amazing, as you can just endlessly stall with Protect, Substitute and Roost while your opponent is slowly losing all of his PP.
Rock Slide and Aerial Ace are other options though, because if you don’t use any offensive move on this, battles tend to get really boring and long. Rock Slide was chosen for accuracy purposes, but flinching the opponent might be counterproductive with this pokemon’s purpose, so Stone Edge can be considered as well. Aerial Ace is a tech move. Combine this with a Tyranitar or Hippowdon and you’ve got quite a nice thing going on here.

Other options: Whirlwind, Stealth Rock, Double-Edge, Thunder Fang, Dragon Claw
Whirlwind and Stealth Rock can both be used on an Aerodactyl that’s a bit more defensive, although Skarmory does those things better. Double-Edge is an option for when you’re using Rock Head as your ability, but being super effective at nothing hurts its usefulness here, so Stone Edge or Earthquake are usually better options. Thunder Fang is another move Aerodactyl learns and which can be used, although Stone Edge does things much better (the only downside is its accuracy). Even on Gyarados, Stone Edge has a higher damage output than Thunder Fang.
Finally, Dragon Claw is an option if you’re using Fire Fang or Fire Blast alongside Earthquake on a same set, as you’ll then be able to hit everything in the game with at least neutral damage.

Probably into Speed. And as a regular Aerodactyl user, I say that set should be...

There's already 216 in Speed. It's probably HP but the analyses will be redone.
