It was multiplatform, but I bought MegaMan 9 some 6 months after Brawl, and that game owned. I also don't regret buying Gradius Rebirth or Bomberman Blast.

Yeah Brawl is the last disc I got and also my third in that regard. Next disc I get will be Mario Bros and then Galaxy 2 after that, however long it takes.

The other game I bought for the Wii besides Brawl was multi platform. So yeah.

Considering quite a few good games came out since Brawl, I've bought a few. Due to lack of funds, I haven't been able to buy nearly all of them, but I do have some of the more significant ones.

ToS:DotNW, The Conduit (I like it, sue me), Metroid Prime Trilogy, Little King's Story, etc.

I do admit that the Wii doesn't have quite the library I wish it would, but it has plenty of good games. (I don't even count Brawl as one of the top Wii games. It's good, but not great.)

I have found myself rifling through the PS2's library as of late, though. I missed out on some amazing games for that system.

SON, THIS IS WHERE I PROVE YOU WRONG.

After brawl came out, I got Megaman 9 (Fuck you this is a great game). Next, I got Mario Kart Wii, aggravating but great nevertheless. And uh.. yeah that's it.

I wouldn't have counted MKWii, either. And it's not like I'm biased against the spinoffs or Mario in general, its just that based on all the reviews I've read (both positive and negative) and the hours I played it with some friends that owned it, I decided it wasn't worth the money.

Same for Super Paper Mario, though a friend let me borrow it so I cleared the thing anyway. I would have regretted buying that also.

Super paper mario was pretty disappointing.

Nope, lol. Unless you count quake 2 homebrew, and I consider that the best game on the Wii.

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Wii, is in fact, Gamecube/Wii, or as I've recently taken to calling it, Gamecube plus Wii. Wii is not a console unto itself, but rather another gimmick of a fully functioning Gamecube system made useful by Dolphin, Gekko and vital system components comprising a full console as defined by casuals.

Many casuals run a modified version of the Gamecube system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of Gamecube which is widely used today is often called "Wii", and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the Gamecube system, developed by Nintendo.

There really is a Wii, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the console they use. Wii is the gimmick: the part in the system that allows casuals to waggle the wii remote and send signals to casual game you play. The gimmick is an essential part of a console, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete console. Wii is normally used in combination with the Gamecube console: the whole system is basically Gamecube with Wii added, or Gamecube/Wii. All the so-called "Wii" sales are really sales of Gamecube/Wii.

This is also a copypasta from a troll on GameFAQs, IIRC.

Edited because I screwed up the quotes.

So I'm messing around with my GameCube/Wii, and as I exit my game and return to the home menu, I glance at the Wii Shop icon and notice.. is that.. Contra?

Curious, I load up the shop, and lo and behold.. Contra Rebirth is here! I wasn't even aware the game was made or following its development/release, but I loved Gradius Rebirth and played the hell out of it, and love Contra in general, so it didn't take more than ten minutes of reading and research to convince me it was a worthy purchase.

There's another game added to my list, and I officially own more WiiWare games than games on discs, which isn't including my two VC games in that total. New Super Mario Bros isn't going to bring it to a tie, because by then I'll also have Cave Story. Tatsunoko vs Capcom will make it a tie though, whenever that arrives.

No More Heroes and Mad World, and you can bet your ass I am going to get the sequel.
