That is some of the saddest mario play I ever did see and I suck at Mario. Shad can back that up. I think I actually facepalmed for the first time just now.

Not on an already completed file, they wouldn't. I highly doubt any of them could sloppily make their way to 60 stars just to trigger the purples to appear.

I would have laughed harder if the video went on long enough to see the Nintendo rep manning the demo tell them to stop playing.
