Uh, lesse, 98% on the challenges, only Mr. Perfect remaining (which I have no intention of even attempting) so that right there should tell you I've played the main game enough to beat it 30 times.

Thanks to Time Attack being loaded with ridiculous scores, and Endless not only doing that but also requiring a gross amount of time, I don't really mess with them seriously. I play the Special stage now and then because it's fun, and after a run of the regular game I might do a casual run through Endless, without stopping to refill weapons or health. My record there is I think 724, give or take a screen, and that took at least two hours. I was disappointed to lose, but relieved since at that point I had had enough long ago.

ProtoMan was fun till the new batch of DLC came around; I haven't played it since (not to say I won't.) Hero is fun and a step up, Superhero is fucking RIDICULOUS the first time you play it. And I mean that excitedly. You think the game is hard now? Superhero is BALLS. It owns so hard. If you weren't already aware, Hero and Super alter and increase the enemy placement, making it much more fiendish, and some of the gimmicks (like the rising blocks) are altered as well. I have yet to beat Superhero without dying.

I take it you haven't bought any DLC yet? Do you even plan to? If you want to be picky, my personal recommendation is Endless Attack and Superhero. If you buy all of it, play Hero first since you'll ruin the experience by doing the harder one before it.

Anyway yeah, this game is awesome. Definitely worth playing every now and then.

I haven't bothered buying the DLC yet. I plan on getting the Protoman one and from then, we'll see how it works out. I'm still dying from the random crap in stages. It's been ages since I've played a real Mega Man game, (MM8 doesnt count)

So Splash Woman's stage reminds me of the bubbles in Tengu Man's stage. >_>

It SHOULD remind you of WaveMan's stage.

Repto speaks the truth. Though I've been sick for the past 3 days and haven't been able to play MM9.

This topic is now about the win sauce that is Ryuusei No Rockman 3 Black Ace/Red Joker.

For those of you that don't already know, the ROM was leaked on the web like 2 days ago before the release. (This means you Repto) And I've been playing it for a while now. This is pretty damn fun. Being able to wave in and wave out wherever you want without the need of the waveholes and 10 second transformations? Hell yeah. Also, I did my first "PA" for the first time ever. It was the Big Grenade PA, I have yet to achieve the "LifeSword" PA yet, as it's much harder to get all 3 swords on one line.

And apparently, they've gotten rid of the "pick your own" favorite cards, and instead allows you to pick a preset list of favorites.

Double Posting to say that each game allows 2, yes that's right 2 SAVE FILES. I'm currently playing Red Joker in JP and plan on getting both versions when they release in the USA, most people I know on IRC (the majority at least) seems to be getting Red Joker as well. Guess I'll be "maining" Black Ace now. I wonder which version is going to be considered the "underdog" version this time. Hopefully Red Joker. >_>

Don't know if I want to buy a game before the 25th (Chrono Trigger) at least not one like this, since I know it'll take more than two weeks to get all the meat out of it and I'm going to want to drop it once I get my hands on CT (and that'll keep me occupied for a solid two months if not much longer.)

Keep me posted though, don't think I'm not very interested in it.
