Latest video: Part 92
0 | Heh, cool. I can tell where you're really stressing to use English fluently. Unfortunately I'm not bilingual so I don't get to know what that's like. Watched both to the end; I'd like to hear your commentary on the various Team Rocket parts. |

0 | Whew, it seems I passed the biggest test. I was really afraid it'd bomb horribly on the word go, but it seems not. Expect part 3 tomorrow (there's a part I didn't record because it's basically hunting a Pokémon with a 6% chance of appearing, though I got lucky and found said Poké on my third try, so I COULD have recorded everything if only I knew), along with maybe, maybe a little extra. |

0 | You are far from boring Slowflake. And I noticed in the second video that you thought Bulbasaur had a Psychic weakness :P |
Oct 03 @ 08:43 ![]() |
0 | It does, and that was basically its death sentence in RBY. Only Gengar really had what it took to bypass a Psychic weak and remain good. |

0 | Hell, you're going back to the time when Alakazam was one of the best, and Gengar's answer to it was Explosion. And we had the ghetto special stat that combined both offense and defense. Exeggutor and Slowbro weren't quite Alakazam but they were ridiculous, too. |

0 | Man, it's ridiculous to think of what roles Pokemon had back in RBY days. Rhydon and Golem were heavy OU threats simply because their rock typing made them resistant to Body Slam and Hyper Beam...Persian's auto-crit Slash dominated just about everything that wasn't Rock and Ghost... Starmie...was exactly the same, what with that amazing movepool. Seriously, Surf/Blizzard/Psychic/Thunderbolt? In RBY? Outrageous. No Body Slam or Hyper Beam necessary. I'm looking forward to the rest of these videos. It's nice to feel like I'm playing the game again, even if it's just vicariously. |

0 | Yeah, and Persian even loved having Bubblebeam for Golem and Rhydon, effectively making Gengar the only thing that could stop it effectively enough. In other news... Part 3 is now up! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2HDt7mwaAw As for the little extra... it's either going to be tonight, or more likely tomorrow. If I ever put it up at all, because Movie Maker decided to be a pain in the ass for this particular thing. |

0 | As I said in the video comments, I forgot how badass Spearow looked back in R/B. It looks so tame now compared to then. |

0 | Seen 3 :D What about the Potion you get if you touch the shrub near the coffee guy? |

0 | Meh, I'm not too fond of the Red/Blue sprites, if only because they don't really look like the actual Pokémon, or are too deformed (Bobblehead Kangaskhan anyone?). As for the extra... here it is! I'm sure some of you will recognize it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hzTToxlkNA Yep, it's that Star Wars crawl parody I did while I was doing the individual Pokémon rants. That one was a ***** to make... Movie Maker has a character limit for titles, so I had to split it in two (if you pay close enough attention, you can see the split occuring at 1:06). Of course, as I say before the crawl, read the movie description if you want details. Edit: I'm not too aware of the secret items, since finding them consistently requires using the Itemfinder EVERYWHERE. And let's just say... the way the Itemfinder works in this game sucks complete and utter ass. |

0 | I'm not nit-picking, its just a very useful potion since you wasted yours :P |

0 | The only RB sprite I'm fond of is Dragonite. Badass dragon is badass. OSHI- IT'S HERE |

0 | I second what Ominous Doom said. Only time it didn't look like Barney on crack. They should've kept that design. And as you'll notice, I tend to backtrack to a Pokémon center when I need it instead of using up items, which I like keeping for, you know, during battles. Especially in RBY, where money's tight in comparison to the other gens because there's no rematches. Edit: Yay! Check this out! I've got an award for subscriptions! Not that it means much (especially since if I were American I would've gotten nowhere close), but it looks cool. http://www.youtube.com/user/Slowflake |

All it really does is look cool, it's not like it means anything. And see, told ya I didn't have too much of a voice. Kudos to gameboy for having the cajones to say it instead of going all PC. |
