0 | God this game is fucking awesome. Bad graphics? Check. Absurd difficulty first time around? Check. Level design that hasn't reached the decade it started really sucking? Check. Catchy, memorable soundtrack? Check. Reasonably short gameplay that somehow keeps begging to be run again and again? Check. Side features normally not found in a game like this? ...check. Mmm. Of course, if you don't like MegaMan, or were in fact born into the generation where graphics trumps all and gameplay started to nosedive to cater to mainstream and casual gamers, or just don't like hard games.. then I wouldn't recommend it. Oct 6th and 20th can't arrive fast enough. I WANT MY DLC Monkey, if you're reading this, how did you get the game? Or are you playing it at a buddy's house? |

0 | You bet. Pretty much all new enemies aside from Mets, but everything looks and feels MegaMan-ish. And as I said the level design is excellent; all stages do something different. I don't want to elaborate on them too much to keep it fresh, but I will say the first run through is usually brutally hard. The challenge sharply drops on subsequent playthroughs, if you remember the layouts well. And this game shits all over GameBoy MM2. Heh. I still like 3 and perhaps 5 more, but this game is still amazing. Can't wait for Oct 6th and 20th. |
