Forum - Baby/Little Cup Metagame sub forum?
0 | Awhile ago I said I'd set out to make an FAQ on this metagame that started in GSC and carried over to this gen with PBR. Thing is, due to factors like lack of time and losing most of what I'd written before I saved it on GameFAQS, I lost interest. However I feel it would be a great idea if we had a sub forum in the Metagame discussion forum for this metagame. Not only will it be something that hasn't been done mainstream(to my knowledge) on other main Pokemon sites therefore cutting down on plagiarism of other's analysis's, it's also a good way to let other's know that such a metagame DOES exist outside of Stadium 2/PBR. That and it'll cut down on my work load...er, I mean it'll bring everyone together! Yeah.  ' |

0 | We used to have an alternate metagame discussion forum, but Fantasy nixed it because no one posted in it (standard-lovin' bastards...). Anyway, if you want to start a discussion about a different metagame, do it in the competitive forum. Don't expect to see a large response, though. |

0 | Btw Scyther (he is far too good) and the 'doubling' items (see clamperl or cubone) are also normally banned. Pokemon that were fully evolved in previous generations are also banned, so obviously no Sneasel rape. The best pogeys are stuff like Diglett, Abra, Gastly, Cranidos, Elekid, Bronzor, Taillow, Duskull, Porygon, Azurill, Specsbagon, Trapinch etc EDIT: Pikachu is evolved ?_? |

0 | So if no one makes a separate forum for it, should people wishing to submit analysises use a certain tag for topic titles, that way all of them can be compiled into an Index on that same forum to avoid confusion? I'll submit something this week when I get time. And yeah, Abra owns that metagame. |

0 | Have any of you even read my Scyther analysis? He's extremely good, even in BL. He'd totally decimate the Baby Cup. If you haven't read it, go ahead. BTW, Pokemon that don't evolve or Pokemon that didn't evolve last gen are banned. They're too powerful. And Abram, although I loved your Baby Cup idea back on GFAQs, there won't be a Sub-Forum because Fantasty merged all alternate metagame discussion forums back a while ago. I'd suggest that if you make an analysis for an unevolved Pokemon, in the analysis just say it's for the Baby Cup. |

Maybe pokemon like Heracross, Skarmory, Miltank, and Tauros, but Farfetch'd? Gastly, I think, could do better if not as well as it, in terms of tier placement. And it's not like Farfetch'd is really gamebreaking to begin with. Or perhaps I'm understanding this wrong... |

0 | You aren't, but Farfetch'd is probably the only Pokemon (apart from Ditto and Unown) that this applies to, so we generally just ignore them. |

0 | I believe these are the rules: 1. Only Pokemon on Level (1 or 5) are allowed. 2. Only first forms are allowed. 3. Pokemon that have an item that enhances that specific species' ability are banned. 4. Pokemon that do not evolve are banned. 5. Pokemon that once did not evolve are banned. That's right, isn't it? Anyway, I completely support this idea. |
