Forum - An idea to improve post quality.
0 | I think I have a good idea going here. Spamming is a problem in the Social boards; some users post 3 or 4 word thoughtless reviews for a sprite or drawing (ex. What do you guys think of my drawing? Here it is: *drawing* Next poster: lol u fail) I have two ideas to solve things like this. The first idea is a post rating system, where users can simply rate a post based on quality. If a user consistently receives poor quality "reviews", perhaps they should be looked into by mods to see if they are a "spammer". A second idea is an Average Character per Post counter. A small number in your profile that keeps count of the user's average characters in a post. These may encourage people to post higher-quality posts instead of "lol good job  " for something.Neither of these ideas would apply to the Trashcan. Well, there's my idea, please don't flame me. 0 | This is actually a pretty good idea, but for the art boards I don't think this will be a problem since we know have the Elite Guild thing. Also, I don't think Mods have the time to look into this type of stuff. I mean, it's a good idea, but I think it takes too much time on the mods/admin's part. |
