Forum - Brief Intro
0 | Hello all. I'm Ongakujin - I go by the same name on the gamefaqs boards. I speak some Japanese, and if anyone's wondering, my username means "Musicman." I'm a college student, professional musician, waiter, kinda jack of trades guy who just happened to be in the right place at the right time to catch an episode of Pokemon when it first aired in the US back when I was in fifth grade. I've been an avid fan of the games - I own all of the RPGs for portable game systems along with Colosseum and XD. I wasn't really interested in joining any of the alternate boards that opened up like Smogon or even Libelldra until I saw the post on the new Tier set up that TPX had mentioned and HighDragoon (I think) posted on the Gamefaqs boards. After a bit of research into the Libelldra community I found quite a few names of some of the other users I've seen on other boards that I respect. As an avid fan of using whatever you feel like, I couldn't stand a lot of smogon posts that I read, and frankly their little cloud of superiority is kind of crowded and stinky. I plan on trying to make as much of an impact as I can... I briefly scanned the Forge and main Moveset topics and couldn't find most of my favorite pokemon that I've figured some decent movesets for (most of them are NU - UU, some BL). I'll toss in my input and hopefully help out some others who need a little help understanding the numbers aspect of the game, which is unfortunately burnt into the annals of brain. 0 | Yeah... it was pretty brief. Only took me like 2 minutes to type and another to briefly gaze over for errors. I think I clocked at like 105 wpm on a typing program once... And I've had like 6 RMT posts on Gamefaqs that I had to truncate to 4096 because I just kept typing...  Thanks for the quick welcome |

I mean if you want me to name names, Fantasy, TPX, Wiik and a couple others (not including you) stood out to me. Its not a matter of disrespect, but those three and a couple others (whom I can't really remember names of at the moment) were the ones that stood out more than others. |

Maybe if you use better grammar and punctuation we could tell the difference between you making a statement and asking a question. And no offense, but other people determine the respect you garner, not you. |
