So far, I've gotten to Azeala, have one badge, and am overall impressed with the new features that have been added. Auto-run,(no more holding down the B button!) the whole touch-screen interface, the enchanced environmental effects(you now hear the sea when you are near it, for example) and the Pokewalker(it deserves its own section) are only a few of the changes that I hadn't heard about.(well, except for the pokewalker, but I had no idea what it did)

So, Libelldra, how are you enjoying Heartgold or Soulsilver?(Or both!)

I like it! No Pokewalker for me though :(

Anyway, I'm trying my best not to Pokesav my in-game team...but the temptation! OH! The new gyms are nice though...and Chikorita sucks ass.

I'm having a lot of fun with it. I had set up a level one Totodile, Scizor, and Aipom on my Platinum cart before this came out. I now have a Gengar rounding out my team. I just beat Morty and am transfering my HM Slaves from Platinum as we speak.

EDIT: As far as new features go, my all time favorite is the enhanced touch-screen utilization.

Anyway, I've just gotten to the Pokeathlon, and it seems to be more fun than the contests, although I liked to do Contests before. I came in last the first time I tried; it all seems to be a bit much to take in. In fact, it seems to be a bit more complicated than the Contests I was so used to.

I wonder how contest stats from previous games will carry over? If they end up converting to Pokeathlon stats, then I'll have some powerful 'mons to use.

I love the pokewalker. ~90,000 total steps so far.

It's level 45, which means Fire Blast, Sunny Day, Extrasensory, and Sacred Fire. Brave Bird is at 15, Punishment's at 50 now.

And this is Gengar we're talking about, a stiff breeze is enough to KO it...

Just got my seventh badge, and I am now stopping to compete more in the pokeathelon before going on to Blackthorn.
While going through the Radio Tower, I noticed that the switch puzzle is less difficult than in the originals.
Still wondering what the random Kimono girl appearances are for...

I'm also close to conquering the Pokeathlon, only one more record to beat, and I'll find out what lies in the 4th room.
